“Becom(in)g" lends itself to many meanings. On the one hand it is our debut album, (In)Body’s own becoming. It’s the album that created us, really. On the other hand, it portrays the experience of loss of innocence and “becoming” an adult. The songs deal with the many ways that young adulthood feels confusing. Relationships, career, modern technology -- these songs work through the topics one faces as they try to make sense of their relationship to the world.

lyrics
Lyrics
I swallowed my guilt / And I told you what I'm thinking / And who would have thought that we'd be standing here / Arguing instead of sleeping / I put my weapons down / Tied my hands and shut my mouth / Cause if we don't know what this war's about / I'd be ashamed to shoot you down / So do we want silence? / Or do we want peace? / And would you call this silence? / Or would you call it peace? / And I don't want to be up no more and (oh) / Let's talk in the morning / I don't want to be up no more and (oh) / let's talk in the morning / I don't want to be up no more and (oh) / Let's talk in the morning / If you feel how you were feeling last week, that's fine / But you wouldn't want to go through this every night, right? / I put my hands around your neck / Out of a need to frame your head / And in the heat, pressed it against my lips / Hard mouthed, I pulled you into bed / Take it out on me and my body / The slightest pain used to explain yourself / And as I dig my nails deep in your back / We become each other's animals / And do we want violence? / Or do we want peace? / And would you call this violence / Or would you call it peace? / I don't want to be up no more and (oh) / let's talk in the morning / I don't want to be up no more and (oh) / Let's talk in the morning / I don't want to be up no more and (oh) / let's talk in the morning / I don't want to be up no more and (oh) / Let's talk in the morning, morning / Morning, morning / Morning, morning / Morning, morning / Our hearts slow down cause the fight is done / Nobody won / Did anything conclude and do we need it to? / (Do you?) / The war is over now, it's over now / Save your endorphins for the next one / These nights go on and on and on and on and on / Oh boy / What we want / What we want / What we want, oh / It’s all for / What we want / Oh boy / What we want / What we want / What we want, oh / It’s all for / What we want / And I don't want to be up no more / I don’t want to be up no more / Let’s talk in / I don’t want to be, don’t want to be, don’t want to be / Up no more/ You wouldn’t want to go through this every night / Right? / Right? / Right? / Right?
